I am due to bring my camping trailer (like a little wooden cabin on wheels or tiny home) to stay with you at the end of March. It has a wood burning stove for heating so I’m unsure if you allow this.
There is no restriction on using a wood burner although action needs to be taken in the unlikely event that smoke becomes a problem for your neighbours. Collecting wood from the surrounding woodland is not permitted.
Do i need to do an online booking for tonight Friday 11th March or can i just turn up, time would be approx 18:0₩. Many thanks
An online booking means you will have a guaranteed pitch however you can turn up without a booking and it is likely space will be available except during the main season when you are recommended to book in advance.
Are you closed in the winter
The park is closed to touring visitors and for holiday lets from late November to early March.
Hi, we have a car with a roof top tent. Which kind of type should I book?
For roof tent bookings select the VW or equivalent category.
What are you opening times
Opening times are from 8.00am to about 5.30pm. If you arrive and find the reception closed sign you details on the board outside the shop and follow directions to the camping areas. During the main season the closing time is later at about 7.30pm. Reception may also be closed between 12.30 and 1.30pm depending on the time of year.
On a price list it says walkers tent 2 persons is 8.50 pe night. Does that mean tent plus 2 persons or is there any additional charges to that?
If you arrive on foot ie do not have a car the rate for 2 people and a tent is £8.50 per night in 2022. There is no additional charges. Electricity if required is extra.
